James R. Stout — Real Estate Trial Attorney
James R. Stout, founder of the Law Offices of James R. Stout, has devoted his legal career to the courtroom. With over 30 years of litigation experience and more than 100 trials, he now focuses exclusively on serious real estate disputes — including evictions, quiet title actions, partnership breakdowns, HOA and investment conflicts, and high-stakes ownership litigation.
James brings a relentless drive for clarity and resolution. Whether a client has been wronged or faces a serious legal threat, he approaches every matter with courtroom precision, strategic foresight, and a deep understanding of leverage. His style is direct, focused, and uncompromising — and always tailored to the client’s bottom line.
Before founding his own practice, James represented Fortune 500 developers at top-tier real estate litigation firms, handling major construction defect matters across California, Nevada, and Arizona. He began his professional life selling raw land and later worked as a licensed stockbroker while earning his degree — experiences that sharpened his understanding of property, investment, and financial behavior.
James earned his bachelor’s degree in Economics from San Diego State University and his J.D. from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, where he served as a Law Review editor. He is licensed to practice in California, Nevada, and Arizona.
